New to Recharge Milwaukee? Start Here.

PEMF. Red light therapy. Infrared sauna. Cold plunge. Lymphatic compression. Float therapy. Vibroacoustics.
If you're new to wellness technology, even knowing where to begin can feel like a lot.
You may have heard about one of these modalities from a friend, seen another online, or started researching something specific to a goal you have. Then suddenly you're faced with an entire world of technologies, terminology and claims.
At Recharge Milwaukee, we believe your first step shouldn't be trying everything.
It should be understanding your options.
Our goal is to make wellness technology more approachable, give you access to a variety of experiences in one place, and help you make more informed decisions about what belongs in your wellness routine.

A Different Way to Think About Wellness
Many of us don't pay much attention to our bodies until something feels off.
We're exhausted. Stressed. Sore. Not sleeping well. Recovering slowly. Or we simply don't feel quite like ourselves.
But wellness doesn't have to begin with a problem.
It can also mean creating intentional time for recovery, relaxation, movement, performance and taking better care of yourself.
And there isn't one universal way to do that.
Someone training several days a week may be interested in recovery and performance.
Someone with a demanding schedule may simply want an hour to decompress.
Another person may be curious about healthy aging, body composition, sleep, energy or building better wellness habits.
That's one reason Recharge Milwaukee brings multiple technologies together in one place.
Your wellness routine doesn't have to look like anyone else's.
What Can You Explore at Recharge Milwaukee?
Recharge Milwaukee brings a wide range of wellness technologies together under one roof. Depending on your goals and interests, you can explore experiences involving light, heat, cold, water, electromagnetic fields, compression, vibration, sound and more.
Our current wellness experiences include:
PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy)
Photobiomodulation Helmet
Infrared and Red Light Sauna
Cold Plunge
Contrast Therapy
Float & Mineral Soak
Lymphatic Compression
Vibroacoustic Therapy
Whole-Body Vibration
Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES)
BrainTap
Vitamin D Light
Halo Salt Inhalation
Facial Red, Blue & Near-Infrared Light
Celluma LED Light Therapy
Red & Infrared Wellness Blankets
Zero Gravity Relaxation
Shoulder Massage
We also use wellness assessment technologies including InBody, Anura and Fit3D to help provide additional information and establish useful baselines.
That's a lot of options, and you aren't expected to know what all of them do.
That's exactly what this Wellness Library is being built to change. Each modality will eventually have its own guide explaining what it is, how it works, what the research says, what a session is like, important safety considerations and where it may fit within a broader wellness routine.

So...Where Should You Start?
If you already know what you want to experience, you can explore individual services and book accordingly.
But if you're looking at the options and thinking, “I have no idea what I should choose,” that's what our Discovery Visit is for.
Rather than randomly selecting something from a long menu, the Discovery Visit gives us an opportunity to learn more about you, and gives you an opportunity to learn more about what's available.
Depending on the visit and your needs, we can use wellness assessment technologies available at Recharge, including InBody, Anura and Fit3D, to establish useful baseline information.
From there, we can discuss your goals, answer questions, introduce you to the studio and help you understand which experiences you may want to explore.
A Discovery Visit is not a medical examination and isn't intended to diagnose a condition.
Think of it as an educational starting point.
More Isn't Automatically Better
This is important.
When you walk into a space with this many wellness technologies, it's tempting to think:
Which ones should I stack together?
Or:
How many can I do today?
Sometimes, the better question is simply: What am I trying to accomplish?
More modalities don't automatically create a better wellness routine.
Your routine should take into account your goals, preferences, health considerations, available time and how you personally respond to different experiences.
You may discover that you love having an infrared sauna session in your weekly routine.
Maybe compression becomes something you look forward to after demanding days.
Maybe you're fascinated by PEMF.
Maybe your favorite thing is simply having quiet time in a float.
Or your routine may evolve as you learn more about yourself.
The goal isn't to use as many wellness technologies as possible. The goal is to build a routine that makes sense for you.

Why We're Creating the Recharge Wellness Library
There's no shortage of wellness information online.
The problem is figuring out what's actually useful.
One article can make a technology sound revolutionary. Another says it's useless. Social media can turn an interesting preliminary study into a sweeping health claim almost overnight.
We want to approach this differently.
The Recharge Milwaukee Wellness Library is being built to help you understand the technologies and experiences available here, not simply sell them to you.
As the library grows, you'll find:
In-depth guides to individual modalities
Articles organized around specific wellness goals
Explanations of how different technologies work
Research and science
Comparisons between modalities
Safety considerations and frequently asked questions
Practical guides for building wellness routines
Case studies and real-world experiences
Most importantly, we're going to distinguish between what we know and what we don't.
When evidence is strong, we'll explain it.
When research is promising but still developing, we'll say that.
When evidence is limited, we'll tell you that too.
And when a technology isn't appropriate for everyone, we'll talk about that.
Because access to wellness technology is useful.
Understanding it is even better.
Start Curious
You don't need to know what PEMF stands for before coming in.
You don't need to understand wavelengths of light.
You don't need to know whether you should choose hot, cold, compression, vibration or stillness.
And you certainly don't need to do everything.
Start by learning.
Ask questions.
Try something thoughtfully.
Pay attention to how you respond.
Then build from there.
That's what we want Recharge Milwaukee to be: a place where you can explore modern wellness technology without feeling like you need to be an expert before you arrive.
